On August 6, Redondo Beach Rotary Club partnered with Vision to Learn, Redondo Beach Unified School District and Beach Cities Health District, to provide free eye exams, and glasses to children in Redondo Beach.
This is our sixth year of this partnership. Together we screened 157 students, of those, 63 will receive free eye glasses.
It costs $100 to buy one pair of glasses, roughly $6300 is required for this effort. Funding this effort Redondo Beach Rotary Club contributed $2000 and Beach Cities Health District provided a $4000 grant.
We are very proud of our partnership and look forward to serving the students of Redondo Beach for years to come.
